To Change an Offline or Template Design to a GIS Design

From the list of designs in the My Designs view, select the design whose format you want to change.
From the File menu, point to Open and then click Design to open the Design Properties dialog box.
Or right-click the design and choose Properties from the shortcut menu.
In the Format box, select GIS and then click OK.
To work with the new GIS design, double-click the design in the My Designs view to open it in the Design Assistant. Make sure you are connected to the GIS; otherwise, the design will open in read-only mode.
Note: This option is only available for designs that were originally GIS format and were temporarily changed to Offline. In addition, this option is also unavailable if there are changes to the Offline design that invalidate the original GIS information (for example, adding new Work Locations).
